In May 2007, because of the forbiddance on exporting raw ores, Mr. Yang Xiaohua, the chairman of the board of Jiangsu Cobalt Nickel Metal Co., Ltd. (KLK), visited Congo (Kinshasa) and negotiated with local government. It has been decided to set up a new flotation plant with an investment of USD 15 million in Likasi. Presently, all equipment is under shipment in the country. It is supposed to finish construction and start operation in 2007.
